My love affair with fountain pens began with a childhood memory of my father's elegant writing instrument, but it wasn't until I stepped into a pen store during a chaplain conference that I truly discovered the transformative power of fountain pen writing. That first smooth, effortless stroke rekindled something profound—a connection between the art of writing and the practice of self-care.

 

As a board-certified chaplain, pastoral counselor, chaplain educator, and grief counselor, I've discovered that journaling with fountain pens has become an essential part of my wellness routine. This personal journey inspired me to create Doc Pens, where the love of fine writing instruments meets the practice of intentional self-care.
